Special T Thoroughbreds breaks and trains young and lay-up horses at Galway Downs. Conveniently located just across the street from Special T. Galway Downs has large, airy stalls and a full one-mile racetrack that is maintained daily.  The importance of a good foundation is the emphasis at Special T. Their professional horseman put the horses through the needed ground work and track work to become successful athletes at the races. Some of the horses that have gone through Rick Taylor’s program are Sinister Minister, a Grade 1 winner of the Blue Grass at Keenland. Test The Waters, winner of the Cal Cup Distance Handicap, and Lady Gamer, winner of Playa Del Rey stables and Valykre Stakes.
